We are currently looking for a Senior Planner to lead the Council’s work on Crossrail 2 and support the preparation of the Euston Station Planning Brief and implementation of the Euston Growth Strategy. This is a professional role that requires a cross section of skills and behaviours to ensure high quality outputs that contribute towards Camden’s overarching objective to secure comprehensive redevelopment at Euston Station, ensuring Crossrail 2 is appropriately integrated.
You will join the Euston team, which has responsibility for the development of the Planning Brief for the Euston Station area, implementing the Growth Strategy for Euston and managing the impact of Crossrail 2 in the borough.

Required education and skills
The ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in town planning along with proven experience successfully working within town planning, preferably in Planning policy, urban design or Development Management. You will have experience of working on issues in a role focussed on the physical environment with a good understanding of the nature and financial effects of the planning process and its effects on people and the environment in which they live. As a team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills, you will be able to work collaboratively as well as setting and achieving personal objectives. You will thrive from working in a fast-paced, high profile support environment, with proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, including senior officials and partners.
