environmental benefits to our cities. Our office is in Downtown Los Angeles, near public transit, shopping, cultural districts, and sports/entertainment venues.

Required education and skills

  • Thorough knowledge of landscape architecture, from initial concepts through implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical aspects of landscape architecture.
  • Strong Design skills with the ability to inspire creativity in others.
  • Construction documentation and specification writing experience.
  • Highly organized to manage internal project workflows, consultant teams, project budgets/schedules, and contract administration.
  • Results-oriented about project profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to listen and to collaborate effectively.
  • Effective public speaker, writer, and communicator.
  • Record of success at mentoring other staff in their professional development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Eight (8) years or more in professional practice.
  • California landscape architecture licensure or progress toward obtaining licensure.
  • Experience in the design of urban environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe CS is expected.
  • Hand-sketching ability is desirable.
  • Expertise in specialized areas is a plus: e.g., green infrastructure, performative
    and productive landscapes.
  • Revit, Rhino, Lumion, V-Ray, and ArcGIS experience is a plus.
