Ben Sigelman hails from New York, NY and holds a B.A. in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture from Oberlin College and an M.A. in Russian and Eurasian Studies and Art History from the European University at St. Petersburg. While in college, he spent a year studying in St. Petersburg, Russia and fell in love with the city. He values environmental design for its ability to combine architecture and make a positive impact on its surroundings. In addition to translating, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and reading.
