Job Description

​This involves making decisions about the management and development of land for the benefit of the Boroughs residents today and in the future. The primary aim is to find the balance between the conflicting demands for housing, industrial development, recreation, the transport network and the environment, to allow appropriate development to take place.

Our central London client is looking to recruit a keen, enthusiastic planner who could be a graduate looking to build upon their knowledge, the client is looking for someone with experience in planning who could easily adapt to working in their London Borough in a fun, vibrant planning team, the role will be paying between £18-£22.41 and on a 3 month contract with the view to extend.

Salary: £18-£22.41

Languages needed: English.

The successful candidate will

  • Find the balance between the conflicting demands for housing, industrial development, recreation, the transport network and the environment, to allow appropriate development to take place. Writing reports, often of a complex nature, making recommendations or explaining detailed regulations to members of the public. Reports can be for a range of groups from local borough councils to regional assemblies.

Required education and skills

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
