Required education and skills

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or comparable field from an accredited university.
  • Must demonstrate experience in project management, client relations and project team collaboration with a strong professional network in California.
  • Planting design proficiency and knowledge of sustainable planting and design techniques specifically suited to the bay area and State of California.
  • Experienced and proficient designer/ planner with expertise in master planned communities, urban design, custom residential design, entitlement/ permitting process, and construction documentation – including grading and construction detailing.
  • Must demonstrate excellent writing and oral presentation skills.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and SketchUP.
  • Enhanced 3D modeling skills (3D Max, SketchUP, and Lumion).
  • REVIT and other BIM System experience is a plus.
  • Ability to adjust to dynamic project priorities and a strong collaborator.
  • Strong design and critical thinking abilities.
  • California experience and California Licensure preferred.
  • (Experienced) 5+ years.
